HPL compact laminate and phenolic are the two panels most Indian washrooms end up choosing between. Both are waterproof, both are solid-core, and both carry our ten-year panel warranty. The difference is in how they behave under impact.
Where HPL wins
Compact laminate is available in a far wider range of wood grains, stone textures and solid colours. On office floors, malls and airport terminals it gives you design freedom with no compromise on moisture resistance.
Where phenolic wins
Phenolic resin absorbs impacts that would dent a standard laminate, which is why we fit it in hospitals, stadiums and transport hubs. It also holds up to aggressive cleaning routines.
How to decide
- Design-led spaces with normal traffic — HPL compact laminate.
- High-impact, high-traffic or clinical spaces — phenolic core.
- Wet areas that get hosed down — stainless steel 304.
Send us the floor plan and we will recommend one system, with the hardware schedule to match.
